1. Who we are
123webpage is a trade name of Visionhost B.V., which is the controller for the personal data processed via the 123webpage websites.

2. What data we process
When you request a free preview or contact us through a form, we process the data you enter yourself:
- The web address of your current website
- Your email address
- Your business name (and any name or details you add)
- Any message or note you choose to include
In addition, we process limited technical data when the form is submitted: your IP address (to prevent abuse and spam) and — if you arrived via an advertisement or campaign — campaign parameters (such as utm codes and an ad-click id). Your request is stored so that we can build your preview and follow it up, it is notified to our team, and we send you a confirmation email (and, once your preview is ready, a private link).
3. Why and on what legal basis
We use this data solely to build your free preview, contact you, answer your question and follow up on your request. Legal basis: the performance of — pre-contractual — measures at your request, and our legitimate interest in following up business interest. We do not use your data for any other purpose and we never sell it.
4. Retention periods
We keep preview requests and contact enquiries for a maximum of 12 months after the last point of contact. If you become a customer, the retention periods from the agreement and the statutory (tax) retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies and external resources
The 123webpage website uses a small number of functional cookies that are always needed to make the site work — including your cookie choice, a security token and a technical session. To render the site we also load some resources from third parties, namely web fonts (Google Fonts) and a few script libraries from a content delivery network.
Only with your consent do we place analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta and TikTok), and only where we have enabled these for your region. If you decline, none of these marketing cookies are loaded and no data is sent to those parties. You choose via the cookie banner. See our Cookie policy for the full list.
6. Who we share data with
Only with parties needed to run the website and our service: our hosting party (EU data centres), the email service through which we receive your request, and our own customer system (console) that stores and follows up your request. Where you have given consent, the analytics and advertising providers named above also receive data. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area, unless with appropriate safeguards.
7. Security
All connections are encrypted (TLS). Access to your data is limited to the employees who handle your request.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Email your request to hello@123webpage.com; we respond within one month. Are you dissatisfied with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Visionhost as a processor (for customers)
If we build or manage software on your behalf in which personal data is processed, we act as a processor: you are the controller, Visionhost B.V. is the processor. Such assignments include a data processing agreement — its terms are set out in Addendum A of our terms and conditions and cover, among other things, the purpose and nature of the processing, confidentiality, security, sub-processors, data breach notifications and the deletion or return of data afterwards.
